Hey there!

Hey, I’m Jovi!
An experienced writer, web designer, WordPress geek, graphic design nerd, and just generally a pretty JOVIal human (see what I did there?!).

From Word Docs to WordPress:
I’ve been writing for public audiences for more than 15 years. I started as a spoken word artist based out of Sacramento, which eventually landed me a gig as a live radio show host and news journalist. I’ve done freelance work in both prose and poetry, and most recently I’ve ventured into the world of tech writing. The first website I designed was my own in 2008; as a performing artist, having a user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing website was an absolute must. Since then, I’ve designed a variety of different sites for a wide range of clients and I’ve had a blast with every single one!

Web Design

I love creating websites that look cool and function cooler. There are a lot of things to consider when laying out a website today; from typography and color palette to mobile optimization and SEO– I got you!

Did you know that more than 30% of all websites today are built using WordPress?! There’s a good reason for that, it’s the most user-friendly CMS (Content Management System) to work with.

Words

I have been a writer for hire for more than 15 years now. I have specialized in tech documentation, AP journalism, op-ed journalism, special event poetry, copy-writing, and content development.

Graphic Design

I do all of the pretty things: business cards, letterheads,
flyers, social media collateral, posters, stickers, and so much more!

Divi is the leading premium theme for WordPress and I’ve been using it to build websites on a near exclusive basis since its inception.
